Muthoni Muigai builds systems that help people and organisations thrive. A learning and development specialist, she has spent over two decades at the intersection of Learning and Development, Talent and People Operations, designing scalable programmes and structures that turn strategy into day-to-day behaviour and impact. She leads ALADI’s Learning and Engagement function.
Her work spans the corporate, technology and non-profit sectors across Africa, from fast-growing organisations like Safaricom and CrossBoundary to mission-driven teams like Educate! and Andela. She has led global learning initiatives, managed large-scale performance and talent programmes, and partnered with leaders to strengthen organisational culture, building leadership development frameworks, reimagining performance management, and setting up processes that make learning part of how work gets done. Her approach blends structure with empathy: data and systems where they matter most, and human connection where it counts. Muthoni is especially drawn to experiential and immersive learning that connects people to context and challenges perspectives, empowering teams to grow, lead and deliver meaningful change.
