The ALADI Community Mixer is built around two of ALADI’s pillars: Collaborative Spaces; where individuals can connect, exchange ideas, and foster relationships; and Knowledge Harvesting and Sharing; where we provide a solid knowledge base from which to drive influence, amplify voices, and operate collaborative spaces effectively. This first edition of the community mixer was held at the ALADI offices in Nairobi, Kenya and brought together 25 young leaders and mentors within the ALADI network with whom we have had prior engagement within live events, retreat programs, and on our digital platforms. We also utilized the platform to showcase the first episode of Mastercard Foundation’s Transcending Boundaries Podcast featuring Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, which was followed by a dialogue session on the key insights and learnings from the episode.
