Josephine Namayi

Namayi is a Programs Officer whose heart is on the ground. She’s most energized in the field, walking alongside communities as programs come to life, not just designing them from behind a desk. With progressive experience strengthening program delivery for non-profit organizations, she has led multi-county implementation across HIV prevention among AGYW, youth leadership, women’s economic empowerment, and enterprise development for micro-business owners in rural and informal settlements.

She is equally skilled at translating strategy into results, managing complex projects, optimizing operations, and ensuring alignment with organizational and donor priorities. She has managed high-value donor-funded programs supported by LVCT Health, NOREC, and Rotary International, leading teams to deliver measurable results.

Namayi is deeply committed to advancing education as a catalyst for transformation. Her impact has been sharpened through leadership programs across Africa, including Bluvard Education Initiative’s Leaders of Leaders Africa Fellowship, LEAP Africa’s Leadership Accelerator Program, and DAY-Africa’s NOREC South-to-South Exchange Program. An ardent believer in the inherent strength of women, she is dedicated to accelerating her impact through her current role as ALADI’s Programs Officer.
